Now In Page!
Impact and Opportunity
The Page Office of the SBDC has been active for just over a year now and it is customary to take stock.  We've worked with over 40 existing and prospective business owners right here in Page.  There are over 2 dozen active, open files.  There have been start-ups and acquisitions.  There has been marketing activity and economic fires to put out.  The annual financial impact from our clients will be felt to the tune of over $1.5 million - not a huge number, but we're just getting started and opportunities continue to present themselves in our corner of the world.

As the New Year begins - as much as I hate resolutions - I'd just like to encourage everyone to keep on the look-out for that magic thing: opportunity.  The SBDC has 40 business analysts in Arizona and over 1500 in the U.S.  We all use one another to solve problems and try to come up with creative solutions to issues faced by business owners and would-be business owners.  There are some positive signs for the economy, but positive signs or not, there has never been a more resilient and dynamic entity in history than the American spirit of self-reliance and innovation.

For the coming year, try to tap in to your inner entrepreneur.  Then call me at the Small Business Development Center and let's see what we can put together.  My number is 645-6687.  Happy New Year.
