Message From the Executive Director

Page-Lake Powell Greetings!

August was a busy month. We saw lots of families in town, stopping by our office, and/or calling for information.

We want to welcome 1 new member to the Chamber in August, Norgren Insurance and Financial Team. We will announce their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony later this month.

This month is packed full of FUN! So many events taking place all month long. Please read this newsletter to find the vendor, sponsor, and/or contact information for all these events.

The Northern Arizona Region Rural Economic Development (NARRED) is soliciting interested parties to join our group. We are receiving training from the USDA-Rural Development division, 21 hours in three days. The first meeting is October 13 in Page, and the second on Hopi Second Mesa on Wednesday, November 10. The third meeting is TBA in Tuba City. *Did you know that the USDA granted $600 M. to Arizona communities last year?

Please call me if you are interested in being a part of this pilot program through the USDA.

Have a great month and if you are traveling, please stay safe.
