Message From the Executive Director
Greetings!
It is with great excitement that I introduce Cecilia Cobb as the new Executive Director for the Page Chamber of Commerce. I believe that the skill set that CC brings to the table is exactly what the Chamber needs as we enter our newest phase. As I mentioned when I first joined the Chamber, I think that the best employee is the one that best fits the needs of the organization at the time the decision is being made and that a director of a 50 million dollar organization does not have the same management style as the leader of a 5 million, or 500 thousand dollar company. I like to think that I was able to add value in developing tools and systems to add value to the membership, but CC is the right person to take the Chamber to the next level.
I have greatly enjoyed working with all the wonderful people of Page, and hope to be involved as much as possible with developing Page into an even greater city then it already is. As some of you have heard, I have decided to except a position with a commercial investment firm. I plan to maintain a local residence and hope to see you all from time to time!
Vin Paitoon
Executive Director
Message from the New Executive Director:
It is with great pleasure that I have this opportunity to work closely with our Chamber members. The Board of Directors have given me goals to increase our membership, offer support, and present our community with viable options for growth and sustainable economic developement.
In the coming months, I look forward to meeting with you, our members, to better understand your needs and wishes for your local Chamber of Commerce.
Our first event of my tenure is the Ballon Regatta Vendor Fair on November 7, 2009. We have sent out invitations to participate. If you have not received yours, we have posted applications on our website for your convenience. We look forward to seeing you there.
Thank you Vin for a great year. The Chamber has benefited greatly from your technological expertise, from our wonderful website to our virtual phone systems and more... With our new systems, we can touch members in a systematic and organized fashion.
Good luck with your new ventures, you will be missed greatly.
CC Cobb
Interim Executive Director
