December Gallery ExhibitExhibit

 "MHA Winter Show"
Opening Reception Friday, December 11, 7-9pm
Exhibit runs through December 31st, 2009.

The December Exhibit at Mint Hill Arts marks our first Juried and Judged Art Exhibit.  This show was opened to non-members as well as Mint Hill Arts members.  Please join us as this promises to be a very exciting event with art from the entire Charlotte area, great prizes, food, wine and live music, featuring Charlotte musician Tom Billotto.

Mint Hill Arts is also pleased to announce our esteemed judge, Harris Holt III.
Harris Holt Photo

Mr. Holt's paintings reflect the beauty and power of both the Northeast and the Southeast. His love of the natural beauty of the earth shows through his paintings of land, sea and sky.

His work has been selected for many juried shows including the
Southern Watercolor Society Watercolor Annual Exhibition and the
North Carolina Watercolor Society 50th Exhibition and collected by numerous corporations including Alltel Inc., Bank of America, Coca-Cola, Wells-Fargo, Hatteras Yacht and many more.

Mr. Holt is currently the curator of the Bank of America Art Collection
which is one of the world's greatest private collections. One of his current projects is being in charge of selecting, placing and installing artwork in the new Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Uptown Charlotte. Many of the wonderful pieces are gleaned from the Bank of America's vast collection and his effort has contributed to making the new hotel one of the Queen City's crown jewels...truly spectacular!

Please stop by The Harris Holt Gallery at 1717 Kenilworth Avenue, Charlotte,NC or visit his website at www.harrisholt.com

Thank you Harris on behalf of all of our members.
