Message from the director
If you haven't checked out our new Creepy Crawlies exhibit yet, stop in today and catch the action! You probably remember some of the live critters we had on display for past exhibits- lizards at Dig the Dinosaurs, and a whole aquarium of saltwater fish at Under the Sea. This year, we've got bugs, of course, and not just your garden-variety, either! Come see a mammoth Vietnamese Centipede which (according to Happy Land Pet Center) once devoured a whole mouse in 20 minutes. You'll also marvel at the industriousness of ants when you get a look at our giant ant farm. Every day they dig a little more, and I think before long, they'll have a network of tunnels that will put the New York subway system to shame. Bring the kids and enjoy a fun, free and educational afternoon here at the library.
