Welcome to the October 2011 Newsletter. We have so much to tell you about this month!
Holiday Shopping:
 Last year we had many customers from afar (including the UK) use our site to send gifts to their loved ones. This year we've ramped up our gift offerings to help more customers use us for their holiday shopping needs!
Christmas Market:
We will be @ the Crossfield Holiday Market on November 6th this year. It's  being held @ the Pete Knight Arena from 10 am - 4pm. Santa will be there and there's tons of fun for everyone! We will have a variety of gift baskets for sale and will send out a newsletter in a couple of weeks so you can get some ideas. Remember - it's a Cash only market so browse our site first to get some ideas to make sure you have enough cash!
Due to limited space we will only bring gift baskets and not individual products except maybe some nail polish and lip balms!

So, you want to customize a gift basket but aren't sure how? We have a couple pages detailing how our Create-Your-Own gift baskets work! First, you will add the # of baskets you want to make into your cart here. Then, you have the option to customize up to 4 baskets. If you are only doing 2 baskets, change the options for baskets #3 and #4 to "There is no #3 basket and so on.)
Once each basket is customized with the type of wrap you want and any messages you want us to attach for you, start shopping! Upon checkout you will tell us in the order notes which items go into which basket (1,2,3 or4) and we'll do the rest!
More than 4 baskets? No worries, just do another order! We only want a maximum of 4 baskets per order to reduce the chance of confusion. If we have any questions we'll contact you!

Rocky Mountain
 We have some new products for the guys including Men's Hand Butter and Foot Butter. Along with the men's shaving soap, body wash and deodorant - we have lots of stuff for the guys! Next week we'll be arranging gift baskets FOR HIM so stay tuned!
 Every year Rocky Mountain comes out with their seasonal Vanilla Candy Cane and Mandarin Spice products. We've pre-ordered and stocked right up since these scents always sell out quickly! We expect to have them in stock around the 2nd week of October!
Be sure to stock up once they arrive - they won't last long!
Oblige by Nature
We will be bringing in some of the wonderful products by Oblige by Nature. Last month we tested a bunch of their products and will bring in some of the ones we feel will be a good addition to the store! Stay tuned!
New Website Content
Our website has been getting a makeover the last couple of months and all is well. The site is almost done and offers more content. In addition to our gift basket section, we now offer an Articles & Information section which has a variety of health and wellness articles. I am the owner of Natural e GREEN, author of two books being sold worldwide and also a freelance writer.
In the A-Z listing, most links point to the Suite101 website. I am in the process of copying those articles over to the Natural e GREEN site but with over 350 published articles last year alone, that will take a bit of time!

Parabens and BPA May Play Role in Breast Cancer

A new study shows methlyparaben and BPA, chemicals used in many consumer products, may reduce the effectiveness of cancer-fighting drugs like Tamoxifen.
September 13, 2011 - Researchers at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco have just discovered that two common chemicals used in consumer products, methylparaben and bisphenol A (BPA) are having a negative effect on cancer drug effectiveness. When both chemicals were combined and added to breast tissue cells, they rendered Tamoxifen ineffective. Tamoxifen is designed to kill both  cancerous and normal cells. Reported in the San Francisco Chronical, the latest study took noncancerous breast tissue cells and exposed them to bisphenol A (BPA) and methylparaben. When Tamoxifen was then introduced to stop and kill the cells, it was unable to do so. The results indicated to researchers that introduction of these chemicals made the cells take on cancer behaviors.
Most breast cancer drugs focus on minimizing estrogen, since most breast cancers are driven by estrogen. Both methylaparaben and BPA are known to disrupt hormone function. The Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) confirms that parabens are known to mimic estrogen and have been found in breast cancer tissue.
