Today I was able to share in a heavenly moment...When God sends little ones to us He hopes we will share in the blessing of wanting these precious little gifts. Today it was driven home to my heart even more than before. When we, here on Earth, choose not to receive His beautiful precious babies, He does. No baby is unwanted; every baby is wanted and loved by God. He does us a great favor and chooses to share these newborn blessings with us.
Today I got to hold a baby that was given the opportunity to live because of a courageous choice by her mother and father, when they walked into the doors of Alternatives seven months ago.
Many of you have read the story of Robert and Nieves, and some of you saw them at our fall banquet and were impacted with the story they shared on how seeing their baby on our Ultrasound screen helped them make the choice for life for their baby.
Today several of the staff and I went to the hospital to hold little Naomi Lily, born Feb 17th weighing 7lbs 6oz, and with a full head of beautiful black hair.
We had the privilege of hugging her precious mom, Neives, and celebrating the "Birth-day" of this precious baby-saved.
Some of you reading this may wonder, "How does Jennifer know this was a 'baby-saved'?"
There are many documented reasons, but let me give you the words texted to us this morning and I will let you read what Robert and Neives say from their hearts:
"Alternatives- I am still at Sutter Hospital. Plz come see our happiness and the princess we have now thanks to all of you."
Today I held a "Baby-Saved" in my arms. Thank you for partnering with us and making that moment possible.
