Fourth Presbyterian Church

Dear Friends,

We would like your help. The Pastor Nominating Committee is developing criteria by which we will evaluate pastoral candidates later this year, and in order to do that, we want to know what qualities you want us to look for in a new pastor.

To gather your input, we will be holding three meetings this month:

Sunday, April 15 at 12:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary
Tuesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Sunday, April 29 at 12:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Members of the PNC will be at those gatherings to hear what qualities you consider most important. That information will then be used as we create the Church Information Form (CIF), a job description of sorts that is used by the Presbyterian Church (USA) in officially posting the position opening for Pastor of Fourth Presbyterian Church.

We also invite your input at any time by email (at pnc@fourthchurch.org), by a private message sent via the Fourth Church page on Facebook, or by talking with any member of the committee.

This input-gathering phase is an important part of the search process, which is outlined on the PNC webpage. We have also posted there a series of Frequently Asked Questions, which we will continue to update in the weeks and months ahead.

We hope that you will find these resources helpful and that we will see you this Sunday at 12:15 p.m. or at one of the other two input sessions later this month.

Faithfully,
