WHO CAN ATTEND:
The clinic is open to any homeowner facing foreclosure. No pre-registration is required. There is no charge. WHAT:
The clinics will provide homeowners with: 1) information about the judicial foreclosure and mediation process; 2) guidance on how to prepare for court; 3) a list of documents to bring to court; and 4) referrals to housing counseling agencies. In addition, homeowners will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with volunteer attorneys as well as paralegal students from the University of Hartford Paralegal Studies Program. |

In the future, the Center is hoping to bring its Foreclosure Clinic to communities outside of Hartford. We will notify you of that class schedule as soon as it is available. Until then, feel free to refer any homeowner in foreclosure to the Hartford Foreclosure Clinic. |
