     August is here!  Connie Mack, the county fair, school starting...fall clothes arriving-I will never be organized!
     Brighton's annual "trade-in" event is from July 24th - August 2nd.  Remember any old handbag (not necessarily Brighton) will work for your trade-in.  We have a GREAT selection of handbags in now, come early for the best selection! 
     Our 12th Birthday is August 6th-twelve years has gone by so fast!  I always say we are in controlled chaos-changing, adapting, and usually laughing!  If we haven't "changed or adapted" to meet your needs let us know.  That is the beauty of a small business-we can make things happen!  If you come by Thursday and say "Happy Birthday" to us-we'll have a present for you!
     Hope all of you had a chance to attend the rodeo-what fun-what super (really tough) kids!  Farmington is so great about appreciating and enjoying our facilities.
     I have two markets this month-and I get to begin another "wedding-mother of the groom dress" search.  Allen has set the date-April 3rd in Austin, Texas.  I need good ideas for a fun rehearsal dinner party!
     Our heart healthy cookbooks were dedicated at San Juan Regional Medical Center in July, again thanks to all of you who helped.

     Last thought-if you haven't visited our neighbors "Distil" you need to!  Their sandwiches are great-their "spirits" really cool-we've laughed at all the "weird beer (names I can't pronounce) walking by the door!  It has been fun watching the beginning of a great store/business!
