Lavender Peddler Lavender Do you love lavender as much as I do? We have loads of lovely grosso lavender, grown by organic practice by Joanna Calloway - the Lavender Peddler - of Port Angeles, Washington. Each fragrant bundle is groomed and packaged in a cello sheath for $14.95. Relax with the scent of beautiful lavender..ahhhh.
Grosso Lavender Also known as a lavadin, this lavender is grown primarily for oil and scent purposes. A lovely grey-blue lavender color, its scent is strong and perfect for display or potpourri.
What to do with a bundle, you ask? Display as a tied bundle in a hurricane glass or tall vase. Untie the bundle and display in a basket. These bundles were harvested in late summer 2008, so they'll keep their scent for several years. When they start to lose their scent, gently rub the buds off the stems. Keep the buds as potpourri or in a tiny muslin bag for a drawer sachet. Bundle the stems to scent a closet, or use as a fire starter! Mmmm...
Lavender Wands
Lavender is wonderful for scenting drawers, linen, and bedding. The stem and ribbon cage of this beautifully handcrafted wand encases the drying flower heads. A wand will scent drawers for a decade; squeeze the cage to release fragrance. Since the wand can only be made when the lavender is fresh, these limited edition wands are only available as long as the supply lasts. Assorted colors: deep purple, orchid, & sage |
