Members, Inn at Weathersfield in Weathersfield  (placed 4th) and the Henry Farm Inn in Chester (placed 10), are among the top 10 historic inns in New England listed in Yankee Magazine's December/January issue.  The inns, which were built before 1799, were rated based on comfort, historic ambience, food, setting, things to do nearby, value, hearths, history and library.

Did You Know...

According to the New Media Trend Watch 2011, nine of of 10 Gen-Y's (people age 18-34) are online, and nearly as many are social network users.  They're ahead of the digital curve by almost any metric:

a.  Internet use:  92% of population in 2011 (94% by 2015)
b.  Social network use:  86% of Internet users in 2011 (89% by 2015)
c.  Online-video viewing:  84% of Internet users in 2011 (90% by 2015)
d.  Mobile Internet use:  62% of mobile-phone users by 2011 (76% by 2015).

And the rest of the population isn't so far behind.  Research shows that Gen-X and early boomers are increasing their use of tablets, such as iPads, to access the Internet and are integrating mobile Web browsing, though at a lower adoption rate than Gen-Y's.
