Greetings!
The Vermont Information Center Division is developing an
online training program that will lead to certification of a business or
organization. After all assigned members of the business have taken one
regional and two statewide tests, they will be designated certified Vermont
Ambassadors and will be awarded a question mark sign. Their locations will be
noted by a question mark on the state map as Information Centers.
The tests will be taken online at the Class Markers web
site. The Okemo Region will pilot the first round of testing, which will be introduced
at the Ambassador Training meeting in Chester on April 13th from 9am-12n.
Test modules currently available are 7 Vermont Byway tests,
Vermont Historic Sites, Vermont Attractions and the Okemo Valley region test. We recommend at least one
regional and two statewide tests be taken to achieve certification. Tests will
need a score of 100% to pass, however they can be taken as many times as
needed.
The tests were composed of questions sent to the VICD
Training Team by our Chamber and represent the
information individual businesses and organizations feel a Vermont Ambassador
should know.
