Marketing Committee News
The marketing committee met on June 18 at Spring River Enterprises in Ludlow. Thank you to Ken Saccardo for hosting the meeting. The hot topics were the strategic marketing plan, banner ads, blogs and video development. The marketing team will be presenting the marketing plan to the Board of Directors at the July meeting. This brief overview will be the culmination of over a year of planning and ongoing efforts of the marketing team and Marji. The new website will soon have ad banner space available on twenty-one pages. Marji will have more details for you within the next few weeks. The new Okemo Valley blog will be coming online in July. We are still seeking writers from around the valley. This blog will be focused on promoting the flavor, character and activities in the Okemo Valley. And lastly, for the month of June, Suzanne from Fall Mountain Productions is reworking the chamber DVD "Breathing Space in Vermont". She will be adding the new branding and website to the opening and closing, in addition to freshing pictures/video and a new voice over. This DVD will be used at the Big E on September 23 & 24th as well as other shows and in fulfillment packages.

Is anyone else furious about the Comcast price increase? We have only heard complaints from one Inn about the new bulk rate increase and we know there have to be more of you affected. The power lies in numbers so please reach out. Many thanks to Jeff Seymour from The Colonial House Inn & Motel for joining the committee. We could still use a few more.
