The Community Foundation of South Alabama is seeking a Program Associate. Major responsibilities include program design and management, grant development, research, and grant monitoring. Qualifications include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the nonprofit and/or public sector in related grantmaking and programmatic areas and/or public sector contracting.

Rural Housing - New Opportunities For Central And South Alabama
Tuesday, April 24, 2012 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thomasville Civic Center 559 West Front Street N. Thomasville, AL 36784 Register by calling 251-438-5591. Lunch will be provided to registered attendees. Who should attend? Banks and credit unions, economic development commissions, housing councils, local government representatives, civic leaders, and nonprofit organizations working in the affordable housing arena.
Learn more about the state of affordable housing in Central and South Alabama, as well as housing market trends. Local representatives will discuss models of success in housing development.

The Youth Grant Allocation Board of The Community Foundation of South Alabama is a group of sophomores, juniors, and seniors nominated by public and private high schools in Mobile and Baldwin counties. The students are trained and directed to serve as a board of grantmakers by the staff of the Foundation.
