Oh I think it is finally here! The warm weather I mean. At ellënoire we love the lakes, especially the wonderful variety here in Ontario. From our inland "ocean"- the great lakes, to clear and cold rocky northern rivers to the small, hidden and fast warming kettle lakes Ontario has it all. When I was a kid it was Skycroft and Lake Opinicon for me and my family. Skycroft is a campground (no hot water, stoves or flush toilets) on a small lake along the Rideau canal where my family spent many summers nature camping canoeing & water skiing. These days, it's visits to lakes around SW Ontario for Triathlons, and open water practice swims in the small lakes in the escarpment. But for the love of all of them please consider what products you use.
