Dad's Night
.
What a STELLAR night we had on Tuesday at the Dad's Night event. Our families had an out of this world time traveling around the CTES galaxy for their scavenger hunt, taking pictures with their Dad's (Grandpas, Uncles, Brothers, etc.), making their keepsake photo frame, and enjoying a pizza dinner and delicious cupcakes. It was fantastic (and at times hilarious!) to see all the Dad's participating in the night's activities.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize this event for your hard work and many hours of planning - the fun would not have happened without your volunteering. A special thank you to Melissa Moes, owner of Melissa's Simply Sweet (and a CTES parent) who baked all the great cupcakes.

We'd love to know your thoughts about the event and suggestions for next year's Dad's Night, so please send your comments to Nancy Chazen.

We look forward to another exciting family evening at Math & Technology Night on Thursday, January 19th  - see you all there!

Math and Technology Night

Mark you calendars and save the date for the CTES Math and Technology Night on Wednesday, January 19 at 6:30 PM. The PTA is hosting this fun family night to explore and learn more about math and technology by playing games, watching cool technology demonstrations, and digging deep into the meaning of the relationship between a circle's diameter and its circumference, better known as Pi - and by that we mean PIE!

Bring the whole family to enjoy pie desserts and further your understanding of math and technology practices.

We need volunteers for this event, so if you're interested in the planning, setting up, staffing a table, or anything else, please contact Nancy Chazen.
