Customer of the Month
Manuel
Maga�a grew up in the Sacramento River Delta. He later attended Stanford University. After working at
Pacific Bell (later SBC, and now AT&T) for seven and a half years, he took
some time off to write fiction, before returning to Berkeley's Graduate Theological Union.
He enjoys open and honest theological conversation.
Currently, he has the
privilege of pastoring Community Church of Hayward, a multi-cultural
congregation, whose motto is "loving each
other back to health." Some of their services to the community
include A Joyful Noise Learning Center (together with before and after-school
care) and Celebrate Recovery (a 12-step, Christ-centered program).
Manuel
is awaiting the publication of his first novel, When All the World's Asleep,
hoping to do some book signings here at Eon Coffee. His other interests
include running, hiking, traveling, reading, and watching movies. He is
currently working on his second novel.
