Recently I
attended the World Tea Expo in Las Vegas. I was accompanied by Mr. Toru
Kusunoki, president of the Mulberry Tea Product Company in Japan. As we walked
around the hundreds of booths, I noticed a general trend. It seemed that the general public's interest is
shifting more and more towards a health-conscience lifestyle. Due to this recent shift in interest there
has been an increase in the demand for tea in the Unites States. Green and Matcha tea are becoming especially popular in the US.
However out
of the hundreds of stands not one was promoting the benefits of mulberry tea. In Japan, mulberry tea has
been steadily gaining popularity over the past several years. Recent studies
have shown that there are wonderful health benefits to drinking this tea.

Customer of the Month
Reinhard Clever was born
and raised in Germany. He came to the United States on a Fulbright
scholarship to study business administration. After working in the air
cargo industry and eventually as an aviation consultant, he went back to the university
to earn his Ph.D. in transportation engineering.
Reinhard is now working as
a consultant in private practice. His favorite topic is traffic safety,
especially pedestrian safety.
