Badlands White Tail Series Review

Whitetail Hunters' rejoice, the day of not having an organized pack at your side is over. I was able to get two different style Badlands products in my hand and at first glance you would assume that you where just holding yet another day pack or money toting, casino going fanny pack. By the way you probably would not want to wear the tree hugger to the casino you would lose your diners card in one of the many pockets. Yet if you cashed out you could pop it open and fill its enormous basket with your nickels you had just won.
On a more serious note I thought just like many would. Here is another whitetail pack, and how would it be different? But with the White Tail Hybrid my question was answered and Badlands crushed it! Getting a stroke ahead of Michael Phelps and the rest of the pack building roomies.
 First with the Zip-No technology you gather a sense of German engineering mixed with a bit of NASA ingenuity. Then just like they say I started instantly loading my pack to decide where everything would go and function properly. I ran out of stuff. Not like me at all, I am kind of a gear geek and an organizational guru. And it seems as if I wont have to use my many Ziploc bags. Sorry Hefty.
The White Tail Hybrid pack is one of the more versatile packs I have seen Badlands come out with. The main compartment on this thing and its ease of use allowed for one pocket after another to fold out and get back to what I was really digging for.
 Then we have the White Tail Tree Hugger. The pack that was designed for the guy that has a stand well designed for his personal hunting tactics. And compliments all the gear that you like to associate yourself with. The first thing noticed on this pack besides the new ZIP-NO pockets was the fold out basket. That's right a basket! How many of us are guilty of carrying around a five-gallon bucket to tote around some work tools? Well don't be fooled by the word basket, I was able to conveniently place anything from calls to rangefinders in and out of this thing and quickly grab them. And also store a bottle of water.
There also might be a time where you might not need to access your calls and other tools so much, and I think they thought of this as well. Like many early season setups or mid-October hunts go you get your occasional call in but you tend to constantly range your surroundings. So you just access the many outer pockets and utilize their many internal pouches and you have one nice Tree Hugger pack.
For Years many picky Whitetail hunters set the bar. And for years Badlands have been building packs to just flat out haul. And now they have created a hybrid that not only allows you to haul loads of gear but organize it as well. The new White Tail Series packs are here. Badlands Cleared the bar, and just raised it for others.
