Class Selections
A great new addition to our teaching staff... Judy du Monde is a well-known presence at Yarns On First, as are her many and often self-designed sweaters and cardigans. With her life-long focus on the arts, including teaching and design careers here in Napa, Judy has much experience, creative energy and skill to bring to wooly endeavors. A member of the Silverado Handweavers Guild, Judy designs yarn for her own creations when she is not pulling goodies off the shelves at YOF.
Daytime Knitting with Judy du Monde Knitting beyond the scarf - for advanced beginners and intermediate knitters wanting to move on to sweaters and other garments from patterns. Skills needed are knowing how to cast-on, make knit or purl stitches, and cast-off. The class fee does not cover the cost of materials. Series 1&2 are knitting from a pattern and the 3rd series will encourage pattern customization to create a
unique garment.
FEE: $60.00 for three classes Thursdays noon - 2 p.m. Series 1 dates : Series 2 dates: May 10, 17, 24 Series 3 dates: June to be announced Daytime Beginning Knitting and Project Support Judy is now available weekly for individualized beginning knitting instructor or to help with projects. Nancy England
ON-GOING DESIGN CLASS
Nancy England is an inspirational knit designer, problem solver, and an excellent teacher with a great sense of humor. Her classes are open to all levels of knitters from the first cast-on through theory and design. Limit 6 participants.
Nancy will be taking a hiatus during the summer months. We look forward to seeing her back in the Fall!
Evening Knitting With Jennifer Bell
Jennifer's popular classes are open to knitters of all skill levels. Please call early to reserve your spot - space is limited! The class fee does not include materials. Make up sessions are not available for missed classes. Bring your project and knit along with Jennifer. For beginning knitters, this is the opportunity to learn one on one! Classes are available on Tuesday or Wednesday nights. Time: 5:30pm - 7pm Dates: May 1, 18, 15, 22 , May 2, 9, 16, 23

Crochet With Sandy Vitorelo
Come join the fun with Sandy learning basic crochet stitches or work on your own project. Every week a new variety of stitches will be explored. Learn to change colors, turn corners and other techniques. Class fee does not include materials. Make up sessions are not available for missed classes. Classes meet on Thursday night.
