I grew up 10 miles from New York City and loved the art, the fashion and the music of the city.  I wanted to be a jewelry and costume designer when I was young, but was convinced by others to study science and spent much of my life with a "real JOB"! Now I've come full circle and am fulfilling my life's dream, hence, MAD (my initials) Dreams Designs! 
 
Color and light are the elements of my work.  I create my designs with precious and semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski Crystals and pearls.  Many of my designs have a vintage look, which makes sense, as I collect and use vintage beads in much of my work. Many of my color combinations are reminiscent of the beach and the ocean, where I am happiest and most at peace.  I often dream of new jewelry ideas and wake up to sketch them before they are forgotten with the morning light.
 
I have had my work in Red Envelope catalog, the Chicago Architecture Institute's two gift shops and dozens of other shops throughout the US.  ENJOY!
