Crystal BowDiane Whiting

Diane Whiting has been beading and creating innovative jewelry and accessories for 8 years; all featuring Swarovski Crystal. Her favorite fashions are 3-dimensional pendants, bracelets, brooches, hair ornaments and her prize-winning evening purses.Her Crystal Iris purse was a finalist in Swarovski's inaugural Create Your Style (CYS) design competition in 2005, and she won 1st place in the Amateur division in 2006 with her Crystal Bow Purse. This year, Crystal Waterfall was selected for the Professional division semi-finals and Crystal Color Chart won 1st place in Swarovski's CYS Community design contest where she is now an invited moderator for the group. Diane's work has been published in Step-By-Step Beads and she will be teaching a workshop for Swarovski's Create Your Style Event in Tucson this February. She is currently working on marketing her purse line to galleries and boutiques. More articles are coming, a long-overdue website is under construction and more workshops are being developed.

Crystal Medallions by

January NewsletterScarlett utilized the new Indian Pink and Dark Indigo to create these beautiful Swarovski Crystal Medallions. Scarlett is a talented young beader living right here in gorgeous Sedona. Scarlett received international recognition after receiving 4th place for her elegant piece entitled "Brilliance is Born" in the Swarovski 2007 Create your Style Design Contest. If you are interested in a project incorporating these medallions you can refer to the December/January issue of Beadwork magazine which features her choker "Midnight Masquerade" which displays 3 of the medallions.
 
These medallions can be linked together to create a bracelet, put on ear wires for earrings... or whatever you can imagine.
