Raising Readers
Raising Readers LogoSummer offers a relaxing time to enjoy reading with our children. Most local libraries offer summer reading programs that emphasize independent reading as well.  For a light-hearted summer read that highlights the joy of words, Raising Readers recommends "Wild About Books" by Judy Sierra and Marc Brown (Frances Lincoln Children's Books, 2007. ISBN 978-1845076122)

For information about the importance of reading to your child, visit Raising Readers. Need more book ideas? Check out the Raising Readers recommends Great Books: Great Topics brochure, available through Raising Readers.
