RPAC Education:

Let's talk about RPAC!  This is the first in a 10 week series to educate our members as to what RPAC is and what it does. Brought to you by our RPAC chair Virginia Ferguson

RPACQ.    RPAC is:  A. voluntary  B. mandatory  C. vote buying vehicle.

A. Voluntary, RPAC uses dollars that come from REALTORS members, goes to support REALTOR friendly candidates.   It is tangible support that slows us to provide to those legislators who support the real estate industry.  It is about making friends and keeping them.  It helps open the doors to lawmakers and gives us a chance to be heard and taken seriously.

REALTOR Promotion

The North Carolina Association of REALTORS' (NCAR) 2011 and 2012 Strategic PlansNCAR Logo contain goals designed to advance both the Vision and the Mission of NCAR. Included in both Strategic Plans, under the Political Advocacy success factor, is a goal to "[c]reate and implement a public relations campaign to provide NCAR's members, the public and the media with information about, and awareness of, NCAR's commitment to and successes in improving the quality of life in North Carolina." We want you to be one of the first to see the first commercial for our "Professionally Guiding You Since 1921" issues campaign. This commercial will begin airing this weekend. We are very excited about the message and the quality of the commercial. Please feel free to share the link.
