 To our Members,
I want to take this opportunity to share with you that it has been an amazing experience to serve as your Greater Chapel Hill Association of REALTORS President this year. It has been an honor and a privilege. Your 2011 Board of Directors and committee volunteers have been dedicated to providing you with the relevant tools and knowledge you need to support your business while keeping expenses low. They have done a fantastic job! Please take a moment to thank them for their time and outstanding service.
Thank you to all our Partners for your support and involvement in GCHAR activities and events in 2011. We appreciate you!
I look forward to great things ahead in 2012 for you, our members, as you provide guidance and service to your customers involved in real estate transactions throughout this coming year.

We ♥ Pittsboro - EXTENDED:
We've extended the We Love Pittsboro promotion through January 27th. Download the game card/flyer and enjoy discounted products and services. PLUS, if you visit at least five (5) recommended businesses you will be entered into a drawing to win prizes, prizes, and more prizes at a member luncheon on January 30 at Briar Chapel. We Need You!
 The Association is seeking individuals with a strong financial background to serve on the Finance Committee. The committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30am. Meetings usually last one hour. If interested, please email me (millager@chapelhillrealtors.com) or our Treasurer, Brett Bushnell, at brettbushnell@gmail.com.
Do you have marketing or advertising experience and the know how to get the word out in today's social network (websites, twitter and facebook)? Don't have specific experience but want to be involved? The Association is looking for volunteers to serve on a short term BRANDING TASK FORCE to help us identify the best method for promoting (1) REALTORS to the public, and (2) the value of membership at GCHAR. If interested in serving, please contact Sue at millager@chapelhillrealtors.com or the 2012 President, Adam Brown, at adam@louisebeckproperties.com.
It is time once again to begin planning for the annual REALTOR Appreciation/Neighborhood Market event. This is a joint venture between the Home Builders Association and the Chapel Hill and Durham Realtor Associations. Representative from all three entities volunteer to organize the event. Can I count on you? We meet once a month at the HBA office in Durham. This year's event is tentatively scheduled for May 22. Be a part of an exciting event - volunteer today. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11th at 3 PM at the HBADOC Office (20 W. Colony Place, Suite 180, Durham, NC 27705). Email me and say YES, I want to help.
