Congratulations!

Congratulations go out to Pat Serkedakis for
achieving REALTOR Emeritus Status!
Pat received his certificate, pin and a standing ovation from his peers at the June Member Meeting. A REALTOR Emeritus is defined as: any person who has held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or a combination of both, for a cumulative period of 40 years in one or more Associations of REALTORS®.
Thanks also to Jay Walden for the fabulous pictures.

Weekly Safety Tip:
More Open House Safety:

Homeowners selling their house need to remember that strangers will be walking through their home. Hide any valuable in a safe and secure place. If you have a vault or a fire safe box, keep all important documents as well as jewelries in it. If you have prescription drugs, keep them away from plain sight.
Put away the kitchen knives and other things that can be used as weapons, like baseball bats, etc. and keep them in a place where they cannot be easily found or reached.

National Night Out
Officers of the Chapel Hill Police Department are getting very excited about National Night Out 2011! We look forward to visiting your community, to meeting your neighbors, and letting you know how much we care about what is happening in our town!!!
National Night Out this year is going to be observed on Tuesday August 2nd. For more information go to www.nationalnightout.org
Turn on your porch lights, plan a neighborhood walk, cookout or block party.
This is a great opportunity to meet new neighbors or reacquaint with the old.
This would also be a good time to promote the Community Watch Program in your neighborhood.
