REALTOR Appreciation Event

Realtor Appreciation

It is once again time for the REALTOR Appreciation Event!

May 5th from 11am to 2pm at the Sheraton Hotel in Chapel Hill.

Hosted by The Greater Chapel Hill Association of REALTORS, The Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, and The Durham Regional Association of REALTORS.

Email me at membership@chapelhillrealtors.com and let me know if you will be attending!

Weekly Safety Tip:

An open house can be a great sales tool, but it also exposes you to numerous unfamiliar people for the first time. Stay safe by practicing safe practices.

  • When prospective buyers begin to arrive, jot down their car descriptions, license numbers and physical descriptions.
  • When showing the house, always walk behind the prospect. Direct them; don't lead them. Say, for example, "The kitchen is on your left," and gesture for them to go ahead of you.

Dramatic social and demographic changes in the U.S. have made fair housing a "front burner" issues for real estate practitioners. The "age wave" has also created new problems (as well as new opportunities) for real estate practitioners who help elderly real estate consumers.
