We've all heard that millions are being spent on infrastructure through the Stimulus Recovery Act but have we really considered all of the thousands of local contractors across America who are getting those contracts?! For information on what projects have been, or will be, handed out in your state visit the website Recovery.gov.
One can even search by contractor recipient in each state:
To find out even more about what's happening locally, go to the state's local Recovery website. For example, the chart that's embedded in this link from a Massachusetts recovery site offers the following:
- Name of project
- Region
- Cost estimate
- Dates relating to bids and project beginnings and projected endings
- Contractor Name and address.
