In our Feb. 23rd Quick Recruiting Tip we shared with you a site called LayOff Tracker. As you can imagine, these sites have been going up faster than you can say "pink slip." Since, unfortunately, the legal profession has seen their share of hits too, we frequently check the site LawShucks.com to find out which firms are laying off and thought you might like to know about it: http://lawshucks.com/2009/04/02/the-month-in-layoffs-march-09.
But that's not all--if you find a firm in your community laying off, don't forget to put the name of the firm into the search feature of your "linkedin" account and find out who, if anyone in your network, maybe affiliated with the firm.
