As we've heard, roughly 7,000 Bear Stearns employees, or half of their workforce, are expected to lose their jobs as a result of last week's buyout. The cuts will come predominantly from their Manhattan headquarters and Whippany, NJ locations, however, the following cities are expecting considerable reductions in force as well: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and St. Louis.
