Fifth Annual Jim Mora Celebrity Golf Classic

Marquis Event Assists Children  

in Need

Join us for our primary fundraiser, the Fifth Annual Jim Mora Celebrity Golf Classic, on Monday June 27th at The Golf Club at Newcastle.  Funds from this annual event will benefit local children's charities.

Joey Bellevue Restaurant/Lounge will host the VIP Appreciation Party the night before the Golf Classic on Sunday, June 26th. This VIP Party features an evening of delicious food, signature drinks, mingling with celebrities and toasting with the sponsors as they help us to make a difference in a child's life! 

The Golf Classic will tee off on Monday, June 27th with participants enjoying a day of golf, lunch on the course, contests on nearly every hole, a shoot-out to drive away with a new car, courtesy of Micheal's Toyota of Bellevue, and a Backswing Bash and Auction party to remember, featuring a gourmet dinner during our live auction.

2011 Lucky Strike Bowling Benefit Bash 

The Third Annual Lucky Strike Bowling Bash Raises Over $25,000 for Children's Charities throughout Seattle

The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation held its third annual Lucky Strike Bowling Benefit Bash on April 19, 2011 at the Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes and Lounge in Bellevue, Washington. The fundraiser featured a night of food, fun and friends of the Foundation to benefit Special Olympics and Boys & Girls Club, as well as many other local children's charities through the Foundation.  

Highlights of the event included joining hosts Jim & Shannon Mora to mingle with celebrities from the sports and entertainment world, a unique silent auction, raffle opportunities, special contests and more.  The silent auction this year included an exciting array of sports memorabilia, spa packages and family fun opportunities.  Bowlers enjoyed heavy appetizers and drinks, a commemorative bowling shirt and other prizes, while bowling alongside a host of celebrities.  The Champion "KingPin" Team was Richard Craniums -- the Complete Bowling Service sponsored team who had the help of celebrity bowler, Dane Looker. (Going Postal, the Postal Express sponsored team, with celeb bowler Kevin Gogan had to finally relinquish their 2 year reign at the "KingPin" Champs.)  Other Celebs joining the festivities included Deon Butler, Cam Cleeland, Colin Cole, Justin Forsett, Nesby Glasgow, Kevin Gogan, Matt Hasselbeck, Michael Jackson, Kelly Jennings, Mo Kelly, Roy Lewis, Omare Lowe, Dane Looker, Hugh Millen, Lawyer Milloy, Cameron Morrah, Chris Spencer, John Carlson and Steve Sarkisian. The event SOLD OUT for the second year in a row, raising $25,000 for children's charities, with standing room only for the public to come and root on their favorite team.

2011 Mother's Day Shop benefits

Seattle Children's Hospital  

 The Mother's Day Shop Puts Smiles on Young Faces  

On May 3rd, young patients at Seattle Children's Hospital enjoyed choosing a special gift for Mom at the Mother's Day Shop sponsored by The Jim Mora Count on Me Family Foundation and Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. Young shoppers were able to browse through gift selections displayed in the festive area at the Children's Hospital to find the perfect item for their mother, grandmother or female caregiver as well as choose a card and wrap their surprise.  Volunteers from both both the Count On Me and Go 4 the Goal Foundations assisted each child in their selection and gift wrapping. To top off the fun experience, each child was able to choose from a variety of funny glasses to take with them and reminder bands from each Foundation.
