Dear NY Faith & Justice,
We're engaged! In acts of justice, that is. Do justice this month with NYFJ.
COMING THIS MONTH!

Galvanized
by a spate of police shootings throughout the city in late 2006, NY
Faith & Justice is partnering with the South Bronx Coalition
Against Violence to launch community-wide "Conversations for Change"
between the South Bronx police and community members. These
conversations aim to affect the policies that influence police
relations within the South Bronx community. Come stand in solidarity
with the community and help make a difference in the quality of life in
the South Bronx.

Harlem House A Fellowship Gathering of NY Faith & Justice
Saturday, April 19 @ 6pm The Bruderhof Community 226 West 138th Street (Between Adam Clayton Powell Blvd and Fredrick Douglass Blvd) If no one hears the
doorbell, call 212-283-5693 or 646-842-1805.
The vision for the New York Faith & Justice fellowship
gatherings is to provide a space for those dedicated to their faith and social justice to
come together in a supportive environment by creating a community where "the joy
of the Lord" is our strength. We will eat, fellowship and pray for justice together. Ecclesiastes 4:12 states that: "a three strand
cord is not easily broken" which shows us as people of faith we can do more for
the kingdom as a community than alone. Join us as we are led by the Spirit to
start this exciting new chapter of the New York Faith & Justice movement!
