You had previously indicated that you would be willing to help with the organizing of some of the events surrounding St. Patrick's Day in Seattle, what we call our Irish Week events. We need your help this coming Friday for an Irish Week Mailing Party / Meeting and would really appreciate if you could help out with the stuffing and labeling.
The mailing party is from 6 pm - 9 pm, this Friday evening, February 25, at St. Patrick's Church Social Hall, 2702 Broadway Ave East, Seattle (½ block off 1-5 at Roanoke and Broadway). The hall is underneath the church building - enter down the outside stairway on the west side of the church. An accessible hall entry is also available using the elevator in the church front lobby.
We'll have some pizzas and pop ready at 6 pm to help us get started, but please let us know by return if you can help (we want to make sure we have enough pizza!) or call Nanci Spieker at 206-427-3027. Even if you can only help for 30 minutes or an hour, it'll be much appreciated. Also feel free to bring anyone else whom you think might be willing to help.
We will also have our Irish Week Posters ready and could use assistance with getting them distributed to various locations around Seattle. Our Irish Week Buttons will be available as well.
If you cannot make it on Friday but are still willing to help in some other way, whether with the Parade, the Irish Festival, another Irish Week event, or just behind the scenes, please respond with your name and phone # to IrishWeek@irishclub.org. We will contact you to pin down where you can help and the times you are available. See www.irishweek.org for a full listing of the 2011 Irish Week events.
Míle Buíochas! a Thousand Thanks! We cannot put on an Irish Week without volunteers like you.
