Spring flowers are emerging, mornings and nights getting lighter - a time to let the winter go and allow more energy to flow through us. So before another year bites the dust, early Spring is often a better time to focus on the year ahead than immediately after the Christmas madnes. What to we want to bring into our lives this year? what directions do we want to grow in? what do we want to let go of? I have been 'wanting' to do a retreat at our ashrams' retreat centre for a few years now, and today I put my body on the line and booked my travel - I will spend 2 weeks in silent retreat in the Arizona dessert at the end of March. This is a good example - although I told myself I wanted to do this, it only became a reality, and a priority, once I acted and made the commitment. Timing is important, and sometimes we need to wait, but more often than not, staying vague, being afraid (of what?) and not being clear about our priorities leads us to keep putting off what we know we want at the deepest level. So, bon courage to you all!

Rajeswar is now undergoing ayurvedic treatments in Kerala after a stream of health challenges, and is already feeling the benefits. However, he has had to cancel his intended visit to Europe for the moment, and so there are some changes to the schedule, so please look carefully at the diary opposite.

As well as an ongoing programme of Song of the Heart workshops, I want to draw your attention to the brand new CONSCIOUS CHILDRAISING seminar that I am organising in early June. It is for parents, prospective parents, grandparents and anyone involved in raising children, and will be facilitated by Brinda Callaghan, an internationally experienced trainer who lives in France. I expect this to book up fast, so put the dates in your diary and watch this space for more details!

Also, we are running a programme of talks and open afternoons for anyone interested in deepening their spiritual practice, and connecting with others 'on the path' to discover what it means to live 'spiritual life in the ordinary'. Please get in touch if you are interested to be on a more regular mailing list for these events.
