Rajeswar uses the 'form' or Indian raga, but what he teaches is much broader and deeper that what most of us think Indian raga means. Whatever type of singing you enjoy or want to learn, Rajeswar can teach you to sing from the deepest place in your being, from your body, through your heart and with total relaxation, fluidity and resonance. Also, he embodies a profound heart-energy that is transmitted in his teaching - many feel that they receive a deep reminder of that essential connection with spirit and heart that is accessible to all of us - and is still perhaps more widespread and alive in India that our western cultures. We are surrounded by closing-downs and contractions - countries are tightening their border controls, we are being encouraged to hold on to what we have very tightly and to be afraid that there is 'not enough' - this is a precious opportunity to open and expand ourselves and our hearts and really re-source ourselves!
