Pitlochry BLOOMS again!
September 2009
It is Second Place for Me from now on!

My "baby" went to school four weeks ago - proper grown up school!  I was a mess and she didn't give me a backward glance!  Her teacher is nothing short of a Godess in her eyes, whose ever word is to be believed and revered.  On the other hand, what I have to say now may as well be in Cantonese for all she pays attention to me.  After 3 weeks, she announced without a hint of irony to her Uncle Sandy "I can read now" - she doesn't take her genius from her Father, I hasten to add!!!  And this is just the start!

We (that would be the royal "we") seem to have been very busy recently finalising this and that for the Autumn, Winter and Spring so I have a jam packed Newsletter for you this time.

Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks

Congratulations to Pitlochry in Bloom
Pitlochry has been crowned the 2009 winner of the Small Town Category at the RHS Britain in Bloom Awards in a ceremony in Torbay, hosted by BBC Gardeners' World presenter, Toby Buckland.

The committee are dedicated, formidable, enthusiatic and energetic and have a fabulous bunch of volunteers to call on to ensure we keep the town "Blooming" for visitors and locals alike.   We thank you all - you do a fabulous job!

And finally, to get a glimpse of Highland Perthshire bedecked with its Autumn colours is truly magical and I really look forward to seeing you soon!

 All the very best,

Clare
