Transgender Fun and Games

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

6:30 - 8:30pm

An event jointly sponsored by FORGE and SAGE

T was added to LGBT many years ago, but so many of us still struggle with what transgender really means, and who transgender people are.  At this fun, interactive, participation-encouraged event, everyone will have the opportunity to explore transgender issues, ideas and identities in an open, gentle, exploratory (but not exploitive) way.

The evening will be divided into two main parts:

1) T-Toss Trivia.  This "no right answer" fast-paced, playful game will pose many different questions that will begin a dialogue about key transgender concepts, history, and terminology.

2) Stump the Chump.  A diverse panel will field ANY question you may have about transgender issues.  This is the time and place to (anonymously) bring your practical questions, as well as fulfill your curiosity about the "I shouldn't ask that" questions.

Location: SAGE-Milwaukee offices
1845 North Farwell, Ste. 220, Milwaukee, WI 53202
