Kudos: A FAM Sales Update 
A huge thank you to Dan Hodson for his help in selling FAM to Hitachi Metals, a corporation that is high in revenue, but one with few (~2,000) fixed assets. Their IT folks were trying to force the tax department into implementing the SAP asset module for their tax depreciation, as well as, the accounting book. The SAP project team quoted the tax department $1.2M for the job and a significant project timeline. Luckily, we are able to allow them to import the SAP book data into FAM, provide the asset reconciliation reporting and all their tax depreciation needs all for a fraction of the cost and time. Specifically, the project will be $30K in year one; which includes, year-one license, implementation and conversion services, and will take us only seven days to implement/complete. They said we were by far the best proposal and seemed to know how to best serve their needs. In addition, they will be utilizing the FAM to Vertex integration! Now, that is a win-win - Thanks, Dan!
