Ah! What a year! What a haul!

Squirming, shifting, twisting, but heeding the call.
 
The drums grow louder,

as density gets smaller.

Sanskaras surface allowing karmas to melt,

hip, knee replacements are gratefully felt.

Where is this headed?

Into the black hole 

Defocalizing mind to remember soul.

Disjointed, then grounded,

Thoughts pounded.

Sensations swerve,

Equanimity requires nerve.

Finding our way into awareness' bubble,

By this time next year, may we ALL be out of trouble.

or $5 if you enter the campus on Central Park & Foster.

On the East side of campus, look for a large field with Tibetan prayer flags flying and an enormous crystal marking the spot.

As per our custom, please bring your offerings, 20 small, colored candles, intentions, instruments and voices.

My daughter Evan and I were fortunate to take part in this gathering last year, and will be stopping by again this year. Anne Lossing, a friend of mine who lives in El Remate and directs Project Ix Canaan, does a fabulous job in organizing UM. (Project Ix Canaan is the same NGO that sponsored the women's garden project that some of us worked with last year.)

At Unificacion Maya, worldly, spiritual citizens gather to commune, pray and play with Mayan Tatas and Nanas for a full 7 days (or any segment thereof). For the past five years the intention of unifying hearts and minds has always been exceeded.
