Heart Health
We often take our hearts for granted until it is too late. You might have been told that the heart is nothing more than a dumb pump and you need to train that pump for your maximum benefit. Unfortunately, there is much misinformation about the heart that is being relayed onto an unsuspecting public. For instance, most people attribute heart disease and heart attacks to the male gender. Did you know that heart disease is now the leading cause of death in women, this according to Western medical standards? The heart is so much more than just a pump. Some cultures claim that the heart holds just as much knowledge and wisdom as the brain. Could we be living in a culture that has neglected our own hearts and have gotten lost in our heads? Could it be that our culture is suffering from a broken heart? By the way, why would your own heart "attack" you anyways? This newsletter addresses issues of the heart to help shed some light on the matter. There is so much more to the heart than what most people are told. Maybe it is time that we all found our own hearts.

Cholesterol Does Not Cause Heart Disease
The media has pounded the message into us about the dangers of cholesterol. Drug companies have scared us into believing that cholesterol is the prime culprit in heart disease. If your blood cholesterol levels teeter ever so slightly above the magic 200 number, medical doctors are quick to prescribe "statin" drugs, the most profitable drug of all time. Isn't it time that the scam was revealed? The cholesterol myth is one of the most pervasive lies that has ever been told. The only ones to benefit from the notion that cholesterol and heart disease are linked are the many people and corporations who are set to profit financially from this story. There has never been any verifiable proof that cholesterol causes heart disease, yet this is what most people are taught to believe. If you want to uncover the real truth about heart disease and cholesterol than read the following article. Learn more...

Health or Fitness
For decades now, we have been led to believe that health and fitness are one in the same. From "Health and Fitness Expos" to celebrity fitness infomercials, most people have now come to believe that health and fitness go together like peanut butter and jelly. As alarming as it might sound, nothing could be farther from the truth. Fitness is a concept created by several sources, (the media, clothing and shoe manufacturers, sports drink companies, etc.), designed to shape the physical appearance of your body. Health is part of an overall scheme designed for the proper functioning of the body. On occasion, fitness will manifest into improving one's health. But on most occasions, fitness has very little to do with health. In fact, when you visit a health club or gym, it might be difficult to find anything there that resembles health. Learn more...

The Heart Has Become a Weapon for War
How often have you heard the expression that the heart needs to be "aerobically fit" in order to be healthy? This ideology has pervaded the Western culture for the last forty years. Did you know that most of the 6.2 billion people on the planet do not practice aerobic fitness and they seem to be doing just fine. The Western culture, (and a few other non-Western cultures), are the ones who seem to place such an emphasis on training the heart. Is it any coincidence that these very same aerobically-minded cultures have the highest incidences of heart disease. Most of the cultures who do not practice overall aerobic fitness do not seem to have the same alarming incidences of heart disease. For thousands and thousands of years human beings lived according to natural laws and did not need to practice aerobic fitness to be healthy. What changed? Fifty years ago a scientist (Dr. Kenneth Cooper) in a laboratory decided that nature was wrong and people needed to practice aerobic fitness to ensure health. At this point nature came under suspicion and science became God. When you continue to train your heart you are turning your heart into a weapon of war. As fitness can be translated into a preparation for war strategy, the heart is just another weapon to sharpen. The faster one runs or is able to outlast his opponent, the more battles that can be won. These battles might only be symbolic in nature, (tennis, basketball, hockey, etc), but the body does not know the difference. Symbolic war, (sports and competition), continue to turn the heart into a weapon. The fact that we live in a war culture can be directly attributed to how we treat our own hearts. Learn more...

The Heart's Code
 A book by Paul Pearsall
Have you ever thought that the heart could be more than just a pump. This brilliant book by Paul Pearsall will shed some light onto the marvelous energetic abilities of the heart. Stories are revealed about heart transplant patients who have miraculous experiences after receiving their new heart. These experiences demonstrate a direct link to the heart's donor. Whether it is a craving for a new food or a behavior that was specific to the donor, this information was stored in the heart and a piece of the donor's identity is transplanted into the heart recipient. This book clearly shows that the heart is a center of knowledge and information as well as a pump to transport blood throughout the body. If the heart tissue can be a source of knowledge, have you ever wondered about other tissues in the body? What also might be transplanted to someone who receives a blood transfusion? Could they be receiving psychological elements from each individual for whom they receive blood? That is just the tip of the iceberg. Have you ever wondered what might be in a transplanted heart valve from a pig? Learn more...

A book by Lance Morrow

The author describes a direct link between his inability to express himself and his own heart disease. As Lance Morrow writes his story he is also traveling through war-torn lands. He witnesses cultures whose collective heart has been ripped out. The anatomical heart becomes a hologram for the collective heart of a culture. Learn more...
