Artificial Sweeteners Pink, Blue and Yellow Death

When you walk into a restaurant you are often besieged by the many choices of sweeteners for your warm or cold beverage. You have been forever warned about the dangers of sugar so you might seek out one of the artificial sweeteners. Little do you realize, but the white package of sugar will seem like a "health food" compared to the other choices-pink, blue and yellow death-the artificial sweeteners (Splenda, Equal, and NutraSweet). Using such confusing names like sucralose and aspartame, these artificial sweeteners are some of the most toxic substances you could ever put in your body. The only way that most of them have ever been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is through backroom deals, manipulation of test data, and intense lobbying by the processed food industry. Artificial sweeteners are found in an enormous amount of products on the super market shelves. They are usually found in products advertising a reduced calorie or healthier food choice. They cater to people who seek to lose weight. Words like "lite" "zero calorie" "reduced calorie" or "half the calories" are commonly found on these product's advertising claims. From yogurts to ice creams, chewing gum to ready-to-eat meals, artificial sweeteners have become a staple in the processed food industry. The toxicity of many of these products cannot be underestimated. For example, Sucralose (Splenda) was developed in England when one of the researchers accidently tasted a pesticide that was being developed. This pesticide tasted sweet and it was decided that this new product could be put in foods as a sugar substitute. Splenda also is not sugar-free. Splenda contains a small amount of sucralose, which is much sweeter than sugar. The rest of this product is filler. What is the filler you might ask? The filler used most often is sugar in the form of dextrose or maltose that is derived from high fructose corn syrup-the worst type of sugar you could possibly consume.

Diet Sodas May Make You Fat

In
a population that has trouble keeping its weight down, diet sodas have
come along and have become a multi-billion dollar industry.
Capitalizing on an ever-increasing obesity epidemic, processed food
manufacturers have relied on artificial sweeteners to replace sugar, thus reducing the
calories in diet sodas. Advertising slogans like "diet", "reduced calorie" and "zero calorie" are just a few of the ways that food and beverage processors have come to lure you to their products. Unfortunately, artificial sweeteners present a host of problems themselves. One of these problems is that artificial sweeteners in diet sodas may make you fat. Artificial sweeteners tend to increase your appetite; now you usually eat more. They often stimulate carbohydrate cravings, a significant source of calories. Artificial sweeteners also tend to create more fat storage in your body. The irony is that it is common knowledge that food manufacturers already know that diet sodas make you fat. The fatter you become, the more diet sodas you drink. Follow the money trail. |

Aspartame Poisoning
Do you suffer from unexplained blindness in one or both eyes? Have you lost your night vision? Do you have constant ringing in the ears or frequent headaches? Do you experience frequent attacks of shortness of breath or unexplained nausea? You may be suffering from aspartame poisoning. If you drink diet sodas frequently or consume reduced calorie foods that have aspartame in them, you might have contracted aspartame poisoning. This often debilitating disease goes undetected in most people and can cause a wide range of uncomfortable and frightening side-affects.

Sweet Misery A Poisoned World Dvd

Have you ever wondered how such a toxic product like aspartame could have ever made it to the market for human consumption? Hint: Donald Rumsfeld (Yes, that Donald Rumsfeld!), was the CEO of Searle Corporation at the time. Searle was the manufacturer of aspartame. Through Rumsfeld's "influence" in the Ronald Reagan administration, the FDA's own advisory board was forced to ignore all the data showing how toxic this product was and was ordered to give it its approval.
