"Share the Mikell Magic" is Back!

2008 marks the second year of "Share the Mikell Magic", our referral incentive program.  When a current camper recruits a new camper, both receive $25 off their registration fees.  There's no upper limit to how many campers you can recruit or how much credit your can earn-- in fact, recruiting 15 campers will pay for a traditional session!  Take part in the ministry of Mikell by sharing the amazing camp experience with someone else and earn some bucks in the process. 

 

Together, your brought 46 new campers to Mikell in 2007 through this program, and earned yourselves over $2,000.  Keep the magic coming in 2008! 

Online Registration Coming Soon

We are pleased to soon offer the 2008 Summer Camp Registration online!  We expect to launch our online registration program on February 1st.  New this year: we have switched to a new company this year, Bunk1.com (you may recognize this name from the online camper photo and email services we have offered in years past).  Because of that, everyone will need to set up a new account for online registration.  On Feb. 1st you'll find more instructions on our website (www.campmikell.com) about how to set up your Online Registration Account and how to sign up for another great year at Camp Mikell!  We expect that working with Bunk1.com will make registration easier and smoother than ever, and we look forward to providing you with this service.  Be sure to check our website starting February 1st!

  Summer Counselor Applications Available

Summer camp changes the lives of countless people, and not just campers!  Summer staff, permanent staff, counselors, and other volunteers all benefit from the camp experience.  If you are a rising 10th-grader through recent high school graduate and you would like to give back to this place that we all love, please apply to be a counselor!  Counselors give one week of their summer in exchange for food, lodging, and an amazing experience with the campers.  To apply, print and complete the Counselor Application Form (available at www.campmikell.com) and return it before the deadline of March 7, 2008.  And if you know of a promising high schooler who fits the bill, please pass on this article; we're always looking for new faces in our leadership!
