Letter from the Editor
Happy New Year! We would like to thank all of our customers for another great year at MilitaryByOwner. We look forward to assisting you with your off-base housing needs in the coming year! With the New Year comes a new look for our newsletter. We have updated the design and functionality to keep up with the advances in technology by making it easier to read on smart phones and tablets. We would love to hear your feedback. Speaking of feedback; we often receive phone calls and emails from our customers asking how they can "remove" or "cancel" their ad. We refer to this as "updating or changing the status of your ad". In an effort to make it easier for our customers to update their ad status or remove it from our site, we have created a video tutorial that will walk you through the easy steps to complete this process. We strive to keep our site as up-to-date as possible, so we appreciate our customers taking the time to make this change to their ad. As always, if you would like us to assist you, please do not hesitate to contact us. We love to spread the word about MilitaryByOwner, as well as the opportunity to meet our customers in person. We will be participating in a number of military expos in the upcoming months and would love it if you stopped by to say hello, if you are taking part in any of the following events: SnoFest 2012Keystone Resort, CO

We are providing this complete list of the events in the hope that there will be one in your area. View a complete list of upcoming events.

Settle Your Score Discussing personal money matters is often thought of as "taboo", however, maybe it is time that we change that. I am certainly not suggesting that we all wear our debt-to-income ratio around our neck, but having an open discussion about credit scores has the potential to help so many Americans. I would like to believe that the majority of people are aware of the fact that they have an individual credit score, but what percentage of American's would you guess actually know what their current score is?
