Pike River Rendezvous is Aug 6-8: step back to the time when Native Americans and fur traders gathered to exchange goods and services and to celebrate! Triple Dipper: Ice Cream, Music & Fun on Aug 7 consists of ice cream sundaes, root beer floats, old-fashioned children's games, and music, topped off with a walk up the 1866 Southport Lighthouse! Get Folksy and Jazz It Up!
The first-time Poerio Pond Folk Festival takes place Aug 14-15. This free event celebrates American folk music. HarborPark Jazz and Blues Festival features an eclectic infusion of smooth jazz, salsa, and string ensemble performers, including Jazz Saxophonist Marion Meadows on Aug 21. More music can be enjoyed outdoors at these free concerts: Twilight Jazz (Aug 3, 17, 31), Kenosha Pops (Aug 4), and Peanut Butter and Jam (each Thursday).
