A brand new hands-on experience just for groups
Got Milk? Well Willow Springs Garden does and they
invite you to help make lunch. A traditional Wisconsin
meal has at least three dairy ingredients:
cheese, butter and ice cream. Here is your chance to
honor a great tradition, and play with your
food.
With this package groups will take part in making mozzarella, churning butter and whipping up some ice cream. The best part is the specially created meal the staff makes using the ingredients freshly made by your group. Willow Springs Garden features the last round barn in Marathon County (currently in the process of being restored) and the fully renovated Maine Town Hall. These buildings have been carefully moved from their original locations to become a part of Peggy and Dennis Griffin's vision of restoration and education. Many special features have been added to create this beautiful site, including gardens, gazebo and corn maze. |

Invite some birds of prey to join your group for the
evening. Get up close and personal with Julia The
Red-Tailed Hawk, Morrie the Turkey Vulture and their
friends. Learn the myths and realities of these
majestic creatures with an one-hour presentation
that brings the birds to your location, or visit their
facility.
For a great fall colors tour combine this presentation with The Birds In Art exhibit at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and a ride on the Comet Express at Rib Mountain State Park. Check your camera batteries, you won't want to miss these great photo opportunities! |
