Greetings!
Tears Mixed With Cheers
StudentsMay through June is typically the celebratory season for graduation at institutions of learning.  But, last week's unfortunate and historic tragedy at Virginia Tech, now clouds the university's anticipated celebration with mixed emotions of tears of sadness and cheers, particularly for the families of the deceased.

cherylmerchant.com and Evolving Solutions are asking that you join us in praying for the victims, their families, and the entire Virginia Tech community's emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.

If you would like for your condolence and personal words of encouragement to be included in a special E-Card from cherylmerchant.com, Evolving Solutions, and Friends, click here to write your expressions.  In the comments section indicate "VT", then write your expressions and hit the submit button.  Deadline for submitting expressions is Sunday, April 29, 2007.

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that some people believe that seeking help from a mental health professional is shameful and a sign of weakness on the part of an individual and his or her family? This thought process is distorted, because seeking help to correct a disorder and to maintain a healthy emotional and mental state demonstrates care and concern about oneself (self-care) and others.

If you, a family member, or a friend are noticing or experiencing abnormal patterns of behavior, obsessive or paranoid thoughts, or unrelenting anger, please seek help.
