Career Search Tip #1
According to Craig Donato (www.Oodle.com) "find sites that compile job listings from many sources. You'll be able to see all the jobs available in your area without needing to search many sites."
Career Search Tip #2
Donato (www.Oodle.com) goes on to say you should "let the sites work for you. Use sites that allow you to set up profiles of what you're looking for and that will send you new job postings."
Career Search Tip # 3
Use current postings. Donato (www.Oodle.com) suggests that you "make sure the listings are up-to-date. New listings can arrive as often as every few minutes. Make sure you're not browsing through expired listings."
Career Search Tip # 4
Do an efficient, diversified search. Donato (www.Oodle.com) recommends that you "use sites with a variety of [career] types. Oodle has popular positions as well as hard-to-find opportunities and specialties...internships and volunteer opportunities aimed at college students."
