Celebrate the sun and the great weather!
Every year, just as the weather dries up and cools down, Venice Island's Centennial Park hosts the Sun Fiesta put on by the Women's Sertoma Club of Venice to raise scholarship money.
It starts with a party on Friday the 15th. Saturday kicks off with a parade, followed by great food, live music, and the Miss Sun Fiesta Pageant! There's even a bed race (and if you don't know what that is you haven't lived!), and lots of activities for the kiddies too!

Thursday, October 21st is the first Third Thursday Stroll of the
season! We're always open until 8pm (Monday through Saturday), but on that one day of the month, all the other stores open up for the evening. So come shop the avenues and plan to dine downtown, too! |
