 The Budweiser Clydesdales return to downtown Venice -- right in front of our shop -- on Thursday, March 4, from 5-7 pm! So if you didn't see them here recently, don't miss this great opportunity to get up close and personal with these impressive steeds (bring your camera!). The staging will be at the Venice Community Center at 326 S. Nokomis Ave. beginning at 4:00pm, where you can see the Clydesdales stepping out of their trailers. At 5 pm, they will proceed from the Center north on Nassau Avenue to Miami Avenue, west to Nokomis Avenue, north to Venice Avenue, then Back westward to the Community Center. After you're inspired by the beer-hawking team, come in to Nifty Nic Nacs and stock up on fun beer-related goodies: Beer is Life t-shirts; a Hopside Down glass stein; bottle-opener "Luckey" key chains (as well as our rock-n-roll bottle openers); the St. Vivian icon (patron saint of hangovers!); Out of Beer "Life is Crap" t-shirts and caps; even a metal "Budweiser" sign for your bar! We're open until 8pm. |
